It has been an amazing 29 years of excitement, love, and hard work. With our first male American Kennel Club Champion "Broughton", our kennel name, our A.K.C show life, and boarding business was born!

When our children were interested in junior showmanship, brother and sister golden retrievers were purchased. These two goldens went on to be a "Hall of Fame " Outstanding Dam, Broughton's Golden Li'1 Babe and her A.K.C. Champion pointed brother Broughton's Golden Sunset. Broughton Kennels continued to produce six generations of Champion Goldens with Breed wins, Specialty wins, and A.K.C Centennial wins. The list goes on!

Being interested in multi-purpose goldens, we continued our wins in the rings of Obedience, Therapy, Gun and Field, Security, Tracking, Photo ads, International acclaim dogs, and personal pets. Much pride comes from all their accomplishments.

Our boarding business foundation started with golden pet owners friends, grew to their friends, and their friends. In our boarding business, the pets are loved just like our champions. We remain a family oriented business of country boarding at its best.
